Recall, Check-up Appointments

Recall & Check-up Appointments – tailored, not standardized

Regular check-up appointments help maintain healthy teeth and gums in the long term. Many changes initially go unnoticed and cause no symptoms. Timely check-ups allow risks to be identified early and often treated with significantly less effort.

The appropriate check-up intervals are not based on a rigid schedule, but on your personal oral health. Therefore, we arrange recall appointments individually.

As a guideline, the following often applies:

  • once a year for very good oral health and low risk
  • biannually for average risk
  • three to four times a year for periodontitis, increased caries risk, or special treatment needs

Aftercare is also prevention

After successful treatment, one should not wait for new problems to arise. The goal of regular aftercare is to prevent damage as much as possible before major treatments become necessary again.

During check-up appointments, we carefully examine your teeth, gums, and existing restorations. If necessary, we supplement with professional dental cleaning, individual oral hygiene advice, or other preventive measures.

Caries and periodontitis, in particular, are usually caused by bacterial plaque. If these are regularly checked and removed, the chances of maintaining healthy teeth in the long term significantly increase.

Our Recall Service

If you wish, we will reliably remind you of your next preventive appointment. We will, of course, take your personally appropriate check-up interval into account.

This makes prevention plannable, uncomplicated, and regularly integrated into your daily routine.

Our goal: long-term stable dental health

Consistent prevention often saves time, effort, and more extensive treatments. Regular check-ups are therefore a worthwhile investment in your dental health – today and in the future.
