Fluoride

Fluoride is a proven component of modern cavity prevention. It helps make teeth more resistant to acid attacks, strengthens tooth enamel, and can remineralize early-stage damage.

Fluoride thus makes an important contribution to the long-term preservation of healthy teeth – for children as well as adults.

Why Fluoride Is Important for Dental Health

Even with thorough brushing, some areas remain difficult to reach, such as fine grooves on chewing surfaces or narrow interdental spaces. This is precisely where fluoride can provide additional support.

It complements daily oral hygiene in a meaningful way, but does not replace it.

Protection Even Where the Toothbrush Cannot Reach Everywhere

When used correctly, fluoride is considered safe and well-researched. As with many substances, the right amount is crucial. Fluoride has been successfully used in toothpaste and recommended preventive products for many years.

If you are unsure, we are happy to advise you individually – especially for children or those at increased risk of cavities.
