Length measurement X-ray during root canal treatment

These images are used to determine the exact length of the root canals. Treating the canals too short increases the risk of problems later on. The canals should really be prepared and filled all the way to the root tip, or just short of it. For monitoring, the so-called file length radiograph is used, among other things.
